The job simulation puts you in the chair and asks what you would do. Applicants report it as the longest part of the assessment. You are sat before any training, so it is not testing rule-book knowledge — it is testing whether your instinct is to stop when you are unsure, to confirm rather than assume, to own a mistake, and to hold the line when someone is pushing you to go faster. The safety-led answer is almost always the right one. What separates candidates is the pairs where two answers are both defensible and you have to pick the one that deals with the danger first.
